Kalim Beach is situated just to the north of Patong. Kalim beach is a small. It’s a rocky shallow beach that comes right up to the street, at very high tides it will probably come over the highway. Kalim is a good beach for rock pooling and crabbing. the beach is not as good for swimming as there are fairly just a few rocks and shallow reefs just off the shore.
Kalim is a good alternative if you wish to be nearby the bars, outlets and eating places of Patong, however choose an space with peace and quiet.
