Kamala Beach located around 9.5 km north of Patong in Phuket. Surrounded by forested hills, the vacation spot is popular with locals and visitors staying close by. It is a great spot for sunbathing and you will discover many beach activities on the northern end of the beach.
Kamala Beach is comparatively undeveloped and is more of a Thai village environment to it than than many different west-coast beaches. Kamala is a well-liked spot for retirees and longer-term visitors in Phuket. There are small motels, villas and residences with nice views of Kamala Bay.
The Kamala Wat situated on the southern end of the beach is tough to overlook and for those looking for some leisure, there's the distinctive Fantasea Show with extraordinary 3D effects. You can, however, find some good seafood eating places within the beachside a part of the village, plus several fine-dining establishments to the north.
