I didn't go there on a honeymoon, but I did go with a girlfriend. for her Birthday.
Yes, it is a good place to go if you like luxurious resorts, semi private nice clean white sandy beaches (you wont be bothered by aggressive souvenir or food sellers), tropical climate, and ocean full of marine life. It is especially good place if you like to scuba dive or snorkel.
However, it lacks interesting cultural or historical attractions. No ancient temples, no traditional performances, no interesting museum.
So if your ideal honeymoon involves laying around tropical white sandy beach all day in semi privacy with occasional dives or snorkel sessions, Maldives is the right place to go.

I love this place. Amazing staff, property and gorgeous views. Went there for our honeymoon and the staff really made it special.
We got the Superior Beach Bungalow For 2 days and upgrade to the water villa for 2 night to experience it. Both rooms were clean, well maintained.
I must say it was an awesome stay at paradise resort , the hospitality, service , stay and food everything was on point . Best place in Maldives .must visit place .. gonna come back soon.

Amazingly Nothing went wrong and we got to wherever we were going with Very good Taxis and we stayed in Perfect hotels.
Siracha tiger zoo, under water world is good place for family visits especially for children. Safari world and Alcazar Show was also nice experience to spend a day.. but apart from all of this there are many more things and places to explore in Thailand.. I visited only coral island but i wanna discover many more islands and other things.. it was unforgettable trip with family.. I am very thankful for Mr. Lokesh and Akash they are very good person.. whenever I plan my next tour definitely choose only TNG Holidays .... You gave us ultimate experience of life..
